As noted in the Memoriam Column of the November 2016 issue of ALPA’s Air Line Pilot magazine, belated notice with the passing of Northeast/Delta pilot Captain William Edward Pitts, age 75. Captain Pitts joined Northeast Airlines 10-04-1965 and retired with Delta Air Lines in 2000, based 030/ATL. I have not been able to locate an online obituary, but I believe Captain Pitts was born/raised in New York and is survived by Mary Jane Susan Balfour-Pitts.
