News has reached us with the passing of retired Delta Air Lines pilot Captain Russell ‘Russ’ Alan Northrop, age 69.  Captain Northrop joined Delta 11-10-1978 and was based QNY/030.  Services for Captain Northrop are listed below....a complete obituary will follow in the coming days.

Durham NH – Russell Alan Northrop, 69, of Sandy Brook Drive, died peacefully September 25, 2017 at his home with family by his side.
  A complete obituary is forthcoming.
 
  A Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, September 29th from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Kent & Pelczar Funeral Home, 77 Exeter Road, Newmarket.
 
  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, September 30th at 10 a.m. at the Church of St. Thomas More, Madbury Road, Durham. Burial with military honors will follow in the Durham Cemetery. After the Services a reception will be held at the Catholic Student Center, Madbury Road, Durham.
