News from the retired Northwest pilots group notes the passing of retired NWA pilot Captain William ‘Bill’ Edward Helfrich, age 83.  Captain Helfrich joined Northwest 04-23-1959.  I believe he had most recently resided in Fountain Hills, Arizona.
No other information is known.  If more information is received we will pass it along.

Friends and Colleagues,
I regret to inform you that NWA pilot and RNPA member Bill Helfrich has flown west. He passed away this past Monday. I am in touch with his daughter and will pass the word along when more details are known.
