News has reached our group with the passing of RNPA member retired Northwest pilot Captain Gerald Ralph Seaton Sr., age 83.  Captain Seaton joined Northwest Airlines 05-23-1966 and retired with Northwest in 1994.  He is survived by his wife Lurene, their children, grand and great grandchildren.  Online condolences may be shared at this funeral home website:  http://www.caturia-smidtfh.com/obituary/gerald-seaton

From: RNPA News Sent: Friday, November 17, 2017 Subject: Gerald Seaton Has Flown West.
Gerald R. Seaton, age 83 of Spring Hill, Florida, formerly of Hastings and the Brainerd Lakes area, died peacefully Saturday evening, November 11, 2017, at Sturgill Hospice House in Brooksville, Florida.
Gerald was a Naval Aviator and following his Naval career, was employed at Northwest Airlines as a commercial airline pilot.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Elizabeth (Zosel) Seaton.
Gerald is survived by his wife, Lurene; three daughters, Kim Seaton of Eden Prairie, MN, Kathy Seaton of St. Petersburg, FL and Karen Seaton of Boulder, CO; one son, Gerald of St. Paul, MN; two brothers, Eugene of AZ and Richard of CA; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 3, 2017 from 4–7 p.m. at Caturia-Smidt Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 201 Seventh Street East, Hastings, MN.  Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, December 4 at the Minnesota Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls, MN, with full Military Honors provided.
Memorials are preferred to the Navy and Marine Corps Relief Fund.
