WC/NWA Capt. Stuart ‘Stu’ Gordon Smith

Military veteran, WC/NWA Capt. Stuart ‘Stu’ Gordon Smith
January 6, 1942 ~ April 14, 2020

This news comes to us from the Retired Northwest Pilots’ Association group… news with the passing of retired Northwest pilot Captain Stu Smith, age 78.  Captain Smith first joined Pacific Airlines 08-15-1966 which merged with West Coast Airlines….West Coast notes his hire date as 11-06-1967.  He made the various carrier mergers and retired with Northwest Airlines in 2002.  Captain Smith is survived by his wife Kitty who is also a retired NWA/Delta pilot.
Captain Smith was very active with the RNPA group and he will be dearly missed by many friends and aviation colleagues.
