Joseph McCulloch Stewart, age 88.
Captain Stewart joined Delta Air Lines 09-03-1957 and was based DFW. He is survived by his wife Cherry, his
children and his grandchildren.

Obituary : Colleyville TX - Joseph McCulloch Stewart, age
88, passed away July 21, 2021 in Colleyville, Texas. A Memorial service will be
held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 24, 2021 at First Presbyterian Church in
Wichita Falls, Texas with Rev. Michael Morris officiating. Arrangements are
under the direction of Lunn's Colonial Funeral Home.
Joseph was born September 28, 1932 to Jerome B. and Nell
(McCulloch) Stewart in Wichita Falls, Texas. He graduated from Wichita Falls
High School in 1949 and earned his Master's Degree in Business Administration
from East Texas State University. Joseph also proudly served his country in the
United States Air Force.
Joseph married Cherry Johnston on August 24, 1968 in
Atlanta, Georgia.
Joseph was an airline pilot with Delta Airlines and retired
after 32 years of flying. He also enjoyed owning and working on his ranch in
east Texas for 18 years.
Joseph was preceded in death by his parents and a brother,
Richard Stewart. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Cherry Stewart of
Colleyville, Texas; two sons, Thomas Stewart and wife Karen of Colleyville,
Texas and David Stewart of Petty, Texas; two grandsons, Matthew and Marcus
Stewart, both of Colleyville, Texas; a granddaughter, Brianna Stewart and great
grandson Malachi, both of Paris, Texas; and nephew Jerry Stewart of Forney,
Texas.
