___ PCN FLIGHT WEST is sponsored by the Pilot Communication Network and is a service of the PCN provided for the Delta Pilot Retired family of pilot groups. Flight West was started and is maintained to accomplish two main goals. After we become aware of a colleague who has Flown West, 1. We aim to produce a “timely” notice sent to our community that allows for support and interaction from our group toward the grieving family of our friend and colleague. 2. Then, we aim to “archive” that notice on our Flown West Blogspot as a lasting accessible place of Dignity and Honor of our colleague for family legacy and posterity. Contributor contact info is generally removed before posting (unless requested otherwise).

Dale, affectionately known by his family as Cap, was born on June 4, 1941, in

Birmingham, Alabama to Ruth and Percy “Pop” Moore. He married his sweet bride on

September 28, 1960.

After graduating from Shades Valley High School and then University of Alabama, Dale

Transitioning from active duty to reserves in 1969, he then went to work for Lockheed

The Moore Family would like to express a deep and heartfelt thank you to Mike

Noah, Kari Blume, Amber Podgewaite, and all of the beautiful people with Trinity

Hospice who helped us to navigate this journey and loved Linda and Dale as their

own. You will always be family. We thank all the past and present caregivers of

Camellia Place Assisted Living for the love shown to them.

Services will be held on December 5th, 2023 at Mayes Ward Funeral Home (180
