Military veteran, NWA Capt. David C. Short

February 14, 1942 ~ August 5, 2025

 

From family comes word with the passing of retired Northwest Airlines pilot Captain David Charles Short, age 83.  Please see family note below…..should we receive more information, we will be sure to pass it along to you.

“NWA pilot David C. Short passed away of cancer on August 5, 2025. His date

of hire was June 16, 1969. He had lived in Sammamish, WA for 54 years with

his wife, Penny, and children Sarah and Laurence. He did not want a

memorial service, but requested that his cremains be scattered at sea…”
