We have just received news that Betty Jean Riley Norris, wife of retired DL Capt. Floyd Veren Norris, passed away yesterday morning due to complications associated with Alzheimer’s disease and pneumonia. Betty was 80 yrs of age at the time of her passing. We understand that arrangements have been entrusted to Miles Funeral Home of Winfield AL. Services are planned for Saturday, January 5th at 1:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior.  Miles Funeral Home is located at 851 State Hwy 253, Winfield AL 35594-5561‎ .. (205) 487-6405.
