Please forgive if duplicate information....
word has been received that WWII veteran and retired WAL Captain William Stanley Cole passed away on February 13th at the age of 92. I believe Bill was born/raised in Indiana. Captain Cole hired on with Western 10-20-1944 and retired with Western at the mandatory age 60 in 1980. He was based LAX, then HNL prior to retiring.

Services for Captain Cole were private. Survived by his wife Barbara ‘Bobby’, personal condolences may be sent to the family at
