ATL DL Flt. Supv. L. George Foscarini

Subject: Death of retired DL flight superintendent L. George Foscarini , age 68


GEORGE FOSCARINI L. George Foscarini, born Dec. 15, 1944, in Kanab, Utah, passed away in Powder Springs, Ga., Nov. 2, 2013. He attended Paradise Elementary, John C. Fremont Jr. High and Las Vegas High School. After high school, he was employed by Bonanza Airlines and then by Delta Airlines where he was employed for 39 years. He and his family moved to Georgia in 1989 as an FAA aircraft dispatcher for Delta. George was loved by his family and friends. His great sense of humor endeared him to all. He was a kind and gentle man. He left a legacy of love and will be sorely missed by his family and loved ones. He was preceded in death by his mother, Leah Frost Foscarini; father, Louis G. Foscarini; brothers, David and Sherwin; and two children, Felicia and Geordie Foscarini. He is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife, of 49 years, Judith Allen Foscarini; sons, Douglas, Nicholas and Anthony (Christin); two grandsons, River and Milo Foscarini; and siblings, Katy (Bob) Hubbard, Denny (Anne) Foscarini, Ina (Don) Schwartz and Anna (John) Calderwood.
.....Private graveside services for the family will be in Las Vegas.

Life Legacy:
Louis George Foscarini, Jr., age 68, of Powder Springs, passed away on November 2, 2013. A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 8, 2013 from 7:00 - 8:00 pm, with a visitation from 6:00 - 7:00 pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 2595 New MacLand Road, Powder Springs, GA 30127.

I'm very sad to report that George Foscarini died on November 2.
There was a memorial service on November 8, but I just got the word this morning.
