DL Capt. Edward J. Hindle

Belated notification....this is an ALPA reported death that we had not previously been made aware of.  The ALPA issue month shows when the death was reported. 
Below is what information I could find for Capt. Edward J. Hindle.

USAF veteran, DL Capt. Edward J. Hindle

Captain Hindle joined Delta Air Lines 05-03-1965 and was based Miami and Fort Lauderdale.  He is survived by his wife Nancy Vance Hindle.

Edward J. Hindle, 77, of Boca Raton passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2014.  Ed was born in Cleveland on January 28, 1937; he was raised and educated in Medina, Ohio, the son of James and Alice Selzer Hindle.  Ed joined the U.S. Air Force, where he received his training as a jet pilot.  He married the love of his life, Nancy Vance.  After his military service was complete, he was hired by Delta Airlines and moved to Miami in 1965.  Mr. Hindle had a wonderful career with Delta safely piloting passengers for 32 years. Following his retirement, the Hindle’s moved to Boca Raton to live by the ocean.  Ed is survived by Nancy, his loving wife of 54 years; two devoted sons: Patrick and wife Stacey of MA; Tobin and wife Janice of Boca Raton; and cherished grandchildren: Christen, Tucker, Sean & Brooke.
 

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, June 28 in the auditorium of St. Andrews Estates, 6152 N. Verde Trail, Boca Raton.  He will be laid to rest in the mausoleum of Woodlawn South in Miami.
