NWA Capt. Max G. Kroll Jr.

Marine Corps veteran, NWA Capt. Max G. Kroll Jr.
June 21, 1928 ~ October 10, 2014
 
Notification with the passing of retired NWA pilot Captain Max G. Kroll Jr., age 86.  Captain Kroll joined Northwest Airlines 03-05-1951 and early retired 06-30-1987.  He had also worked for Northwest previously as a Flight Control Clerk, Operations Clerk, and Crew Scheduler.  Services for Captain Kroll will be held Wednesday, October 15th in Minnesota.

Kroll, Max G., Jr. of West St. Paul, MN & Bonita Springs, FL.
 
Died peacefully on Friday, October 10th, 2014. Max served in the US Marines from 1946-1948. He worked at NWA for 36 years and retired as a DC 10 Captain. Survived by wife, Beverly; children, Deborah Kroll, Scott (Cindy), Mark (Delores) Diane (Don) Bielejeski & Kelly (Joel) Heyn; grandchildren, Joe, Dan, Matt, Kate & Henry; also nieces, nephews & many friends. Memorial Service 11 AM Wednesday, October 15th, at Salem Lutheran Church, 11 Bernard St. W., West St. Paul. Visitation 6-8 PM Tuesday at Roberts Funeral Home, 8108 Barbara Ave. Inver Grove Heights. Visitation also from 10-11 AM prior to the service at church. Private interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to the Salem Lutheran Church building fund.
