Thanks to retired DL Captain John Morgan for sending the sad news of the death of Mrs. Haydee Geyer, widow of retired DL Captain Paul Geyer.  Paul was born 8/14/1921, was hired by Delta 8/30/1950 and died 6/28/2010.  I do not have dates for Mrs. Haydee Geyer and am unable to find an obituary.  I will forward her information when it becomes available.

It is with a heart heavy with grief that I send this final sad update.  Haydee passed away peacefully in her sleep just before 7am this morning.

Your friendship and support meant so much to her that I cannot thank you enough.

I am planning a memorial service for Haydee in Miami on May 30th.  Please let me know if you can make it down.

To date I have not seen a printed obituary, only a death notice in one of the Miami papers online:
