July 4, 1935 ~ February 27, 2017
 
Notification with the passing of retired Northeast/Delta pilot Captain Larry Brackett, age 81.  Captain Brackett joined Northeast Airlines 10-04-1965 and retired with Delta Air Lines in 1995.  He is survived by his wife Fayette, their children and grandchildren.  Captain Brackett’s obituary indicates that services were private.  The online obituary may still be viewed at

Obituary....................Lawrence J. "Larry" Brackett
Lawrence J. "Larry" Brackett, 81, of Hampton Falls, died Monday, February 27, 2017, at his home. He was born July 4, 1935, in Nashua, a son of the late Joseph and Barbara (Scruton) Brackett.
 
Raised in Brunswick, Maine, he graduated from Brunswick High School with the Class of 1953 and later attended the University of New Hampshire. He was a veteran serving with the US Air Force.
 
Mr. Brackett began his career as an airline pilot with Northeast Airlines and retired from Delta Airlines in 1995 with 30 years of service.
 
He resided in Hampton Falls for over 50 years and was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
 
He shared 58 years of marriage with his wife Fayette (Kennard) Brackett.
 
In addition to his wife he leaves three children, Linda Ekstedt and her husband Karl of Wells, Maine, Lawrence Brackett, Jr., and his wife Catherine of Estero, Fla., Robert Brackett of Orlando, Fla., his brother, Phillip Brackett and his wife Nancy of Brunswick, Maine, four grandchildren, Jaclyn Burne and her husband Samuel, Brendan Barstow, Lindsey Klein and her husband David, Lauren Minor and her husband Austin and three great-grandchildren, Caden, Nora and Charlotte.
 
SERVICES: Private services were held at the convenience of the family. If desired, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice . Arrangements were by the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, Hampton.
