WA/DL Capt. James Leo Wolfe

September 30, 1938 ~ December 11, 2015
 
As noted in the Memoriam Column of the December 2016 issue of ALPA’s Air Line Pilot magazine, belated notice with the passing of Western/Delta pilot Captain James Leo Wolfe, age 77.  Captain Wolfe joined Western Airlines 04-21-1969 and retired with Delta Air Lines in 1998, based 030/SLC.  Captain Wolfe is survived by his wife Alison.  From I could find,

Obituary.........................Wolfe, James Leo
Dearly loved husband of Alison Wolfe and grandfather of Alison's grandchildren, Holly Call, Jason Call and Tara Knutson, passed from this life on December 11, 2015. Jim was born and raised in Texas where his father was a rancher. He was educated there and attended Texas A&M. From A&M he enlisted in the US Air Force where he was a pilot. After leaving the Air Force he joined Western Air Lines which merged with Delta, he flew for Delta until he retired in 1998. Jim and Alison met when he was stationed in England, they married in 1967 and spent 48 happy years together. Jennifer Call, Alison's daughter from a previous marriage passed away on October 23rd 2015 after several years of hospital treatments, none of which were successful. In accordance with his will, Jim was cremated at Salazar Mortuary and will be transported, along with Jennifer's cremains, to Washington State where the cremains of Alison's mother lie. Jim leaves behind his sister, Colleen and her husband Homer; his brother Bill and his brother Jack; along with many nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren.
No memorial service is planned at this time.
