USAF veteran, NEA/DL  Capt. David K. Galloway
November 15, 1940 - March 22, 2019
 
Belated news....as reported recently in the May issue of ALPA Air Line Pilot magazine’s In Memoriam column, the passing of retired Northeast/Delta pilot Captain David Kenneth Galloway, age 78.  Captain Galloway first joined Northeast Airlines 08-05-1968 and retired with Delta Air Lines in 2000, based 031/ATL.  He is survived by his children plus grand- and great grandchildren.

Obituary......................
David Kenneth Galloway, age 78 of Bowdon, passed away Friday, March 22, 2019 in a local health facility. He was born in Pelzer, North Carolina, November 15, 1940, son of the late Edward Galloway and Helen Kelley Galloway. Mr. Galloway was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force and was retired from Delta Air Lines after thirty two years serving as an Air Line Pilot.
 
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Sue Shirell and a brother, Terry Galloway.
 
Survivors include his three children, Marlo and Jason Robinson of Bowdon, Monica and Eric Kampel of Miami, Florida, Melanie and Drew Coleman of Peachtree City and their mother, Marilyn Galloway of Peachtree City; eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
 
No services are planned at this time.
