Belated news ... with the passing of retired Northeast/Delta pilot Captain Raymond W. Curti, age 84.  Captain Curti first joined Northeast Airlines in 1954 as noted below (pilot seniority roster, date 06-20-1956) and retired with Delta Air Lines in 1992, based Atlanta at time of retirement.  He was widowed in March 2010 with the passing of his wife Norma.

Obituary:  Raymond W. Curti, 84, passed away Thursday June 8, 2017 at Watson Fields in Dover following a period of failing health.
Born July 3, 1932 in Danbury, CT. he was the son of the late Sebastian and Loretta (Corsi) Curti.
Ray was a commercial airline pilot for 37 years, he started his career with Northeast Airlines May 1954, NEA merged with Delta airlines where Ray finish his career in 1992 as the number one (seniority) Boston based Captain.
After retirement Ray enjoyed traveling with his wife Norma of 53 years, ice skating bike riding, and especially spending time with his grandson Ross.
Members of his family include his children Jana Curti of Dover, NH; Gina Curti of Thornton, NH; one grandson Raymond Ross Curti of Dover, NH, his brother Edward Curti and wife Lillian of Queens, NY; and his sister Lucille Penna of Palm Harbor, FL.
He was predeceased by his wife Norma (Arendt) Curti, and his daughter Caren Curti Peloso. Brothers, Sebastian, Anthony, Richard, Robert and sister Josephine Recine.
The Family would like to thank the staff at Watson Fields for their exceptional care for the past two years.
Per Raymond’s request there will be no visiting hours, a graveside service will be held at a later date.

Norma O. Curti  ,  1937 ~ 2010
Norma Olivia (Arendt) Curti, 73, of Spur Road, Dover died peacefully
at Watson Fields in Dover, March 12, 2010, of cancer. “Chug”, born
March 4, 1937, in Portsmouth, was the daughter of the late Theodore
and Florence Arendt (Smith) of Portsmouth, NH. Norma graduated from
Portsmouth High School, class of 1955, and completed further education
in Boston before becoming a reservation agent for Northeast Airlines

in New York, where she met her husband of 52 years, Raymond W. Curti..............
