NWA Capt. Paul Lewis Baertsch Jr.

NWA Capt. Paul Lewis Baertsch Jr.

March 27, 1941 ~ May 31, 2020

 

Last year we received notice that retired Northwest pilot Captain Paul Lewis Baertsch Jr. had passed but to date we are still seeking more information.  Friends write: “I have been notified by a family contact that Paul Baertsch passed away on

May 31, 2020 from complications of Pulmonary Fibrosis. Further details will be provided as they become available.”

From what I can determine, Paul graduated from Crosby High School in Crosby ND, was a USAF veteran, and joined Northwest Airlines 05-06-1968.   He had most recently resided in Stuart, Florida and was 79 years of age at time of passing. 

If anyone has more information to share, please do let us know.

    Yes my father passed away @ his home may 31st 2020. This is this first time I have seen this.
