JASON'S OBITUARY
Jason Stuart Schwerin, age 31, of Van Buren
Township, MI, passed away suddenly Monday, March 13, 2023. He was born October
30, 1991, in Fountain Valley, California, son of Alfred Lyle & Annette
Marie (Pisariuk) Schwerin. He graduated
from Fountain Valley High School, class of 2010.
From a young age, Jason always dreamed of flying,
with being a Delta Captain as his goal. Jason earned his bachelor’s and
Master’s degree in Aviation from Utah Valley University. His journey to Delta
Captain included working for Fly Corona where he did discovery flights over
Catalina Island, Star Marianas in the Nothern Mariana’s Islands, flying freight
for Ameriflight while living in Kalispell Montana, followed by USA Jet out of
Willow Run in Detroit. He then returned to passengers with Endeavor, ( Delta
Connection), before going to Delta mainline as First Officer, upgrading to
Captain a year later.
He was a member of the ALPA and the Civil Air
Patrol. Besides flying, he enjoyed
reading, playing with his son, playing video games, and being outside tinkering
with his tools, and working on his lawn.
He was a sweet, attentive, tight-knit family man who cherished time with
his wife and son and loved to call and video chat with his parents multiple
times a day. Jason was an inclusive person who will be missed by all who had
the pleasure of knowing him.
Jason is
survived by his wife Shuang “Maria” Chen Schwerin, their 3.5-year-old son
Lucas, both of Belleville, MI, his parents Alfred & Annette Schwerin of
Fountain Valley, California, his grandmother Viola Joy Pisariuk, Aunts Linda
(Larry) May, Karen Pisariuk, Patricia(James) Flinn, and numerous cousins,
friends, neighbors, and colleagues.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents:
Alfred & Olive Schwerin, and George Pisariuk, and Uncle Michael
Schwerin.
Dignified
cremation rites have been accorded.
Arrangements were made by David C. Brown Funeral Home, Belleville, MI. A
Celebration of Life will be planned for some time in summer. In lieu of
flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shuang Chen Schwerin, to be used
for his son’s education/future.

Jason Schwerin Death – The entire Schwerin family are mourning the passing of an only child, a great husband, and a father. Endeavor Air Captain Jason Schwerin of Imlay City, Michigan was announced dead on Monday, the 13th of March 2023 at approximately 7:40 pm. He died at the young age of 31. There have been claims that Jason was out shopping with his family when he suddenly collapsed and became unable to breathe. A call was placed to 911.
What happened to Jason Schwerin?
He did regain consciousness, but his heart stopped beating while he was being transported to the hospital in the ambulance. They were successful in getting it started a few more times; but, when it stopped for the final time, they worked on him for fifty-five minutes but were unable to get him going again.
The autopsy report has finally been completed, and it states that the cause of his death was a Pulmonary Embolism of undetermined cause. Please keep Maria and Lucas, who are attempting to go on without him, in your thoughts as they search for a means to move forward.

Who was Jason Schwerin?
Jason maintained his modesty and dedication to his core ideals despite his meteoric rise to fame. Relationships were always more important to him than achievements, and many of his most important friendships and business partnerships were formed through his professional endeavours. The many loyal friends he has acquired over the years attest to his unwavering dedication to doing the right thing and treating others with respect.
Though he was a man of strong will and quick wit, Jason’s generous heart is often what people remember most about him. Whenever something romantic happened, he was usually the first to cry. Jason was the type to quietly assist others without expecting anything in return.
