Flight West was started and is maintained to accomplish two main goals. After we become aware of a colleague who has Flown West, 1. We aim to produce a “timely” notice sent to our community that allows for support and interaction from our group toward the grieving family of our friend and colleague. 2. Then, we aim to “archive” that notice on our Flown West Blogspot as a lasting accessible place of Dignity and Honor of our colleague for family legacy and posterity. Subject: RNPA News: Roger Haberern Has Flown West.
 

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

At 1300 today, October 04, 2017, our colleague and friend Roger Haberern passed away. Roger was 75 years of age and hired by NWA on September 23, 1968. He developed many close friendships with the NWA pilot ranks. We were honored to know him.

The family is planning a memorial service in November. You will be included in the information when plans are laid.
