Notice of passing….retired Northwest Airlines pilot Captain DENNIS CHARLES KEARNS, age 82.  Captain Kearns joined Northwest Airlines 11-04-1968.

    As a young co-pilot coming up the ranks at the airline it can be intimidating. I had the privilege of being trained on the 727 by Dennis. He was a true gentleman that knew how to operate a cockpit totally professionally with a relaxing touch. Always safe, enjoyable to work with. Many things I remember I added when I checked out as captain. God bless you Dennis
