Obituary:
Passed away at home in Apple Valley surrounded by her family on January 18, 2013, after living her life proudly and resolutely in the face of primary peritoneal cancer. She was a loving wife, beloved mother, and treasured friend to many. Janet was preceded in death by her parents Emil and Berdean Lesar; and son Seth Thomas Lillyblad. She is survived by her husband Stephen; son Scott (Lori); daughters Sara (Joe) Conlin and Suzanne (Eric) Larson; grandsons Edward Joseph Conlin and Stephen Scott Conlin; and sister Mary Ellen Herman. Her memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 26, at 11 a.m., at St. Clement's Episcopal Church, 901 Portland Ave., Saint Paul, MN. A visitation will take place one hour prior to the service, with a reception to follow. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made in Janet's name to a charity of one's choice . She will be greatly missed by family and friends, who she treasured greatly, just as they loved her warmth, hospitality, and sense of humor.

Word has reached us that Janet Kay Lillyblad, wife of retired NWA pilot and RNPA member Captain Stephen S. Lillyblad, has passed away after a two year battle with peritoneal cancer. Born October 1, 1942 Janet Kay Lesar Lillyblad was 70 years of age at the time of her passing. Survived by her husband Steve personal condolences may be sent to their residence at
