Born May 14, 1922, Captain Herbert Donald Hull was 92 years of
age at the time of his passing. Captain Hull joined Chicago & Southern
Airlines 05-01-1950 and retired with Delta Air Lines at the
mandatory age 60 in 1982, based Atlanta. Services for Captain Hull will be held
Monday the 16th in Gainesville GA.....please see information below.

Captain Don Hull, 92. He was one of Delta's Oldest Living pilots and was a
member of Delta Golden Wings.
Don was the Captain on my very first official Delta flight as a second officer and held a special place in my history. We flew together many times over the years in various types of aircraft and we'll miss him. Herbert Don Hull, age 92 of Gainesville, passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at his residence following an extended illness.
Memorial services are scheduled for Monday, June 16, 2014 at 3:00 pm at First Presbyterian Church with Senior Pastor Daniel Hagmaier officiating. A reception will follow the service at the church.
Mr. Hull was born May 14, 1922 in Wheeling, West Virginia to the late Herbert Shepard Hull and Pauline McCoy Hull. He served in the U.S. Navy and was retired from Delta Airlines as a Pilot.
Mr. Hull is survived by his wife, Betty Keirn Hull of Gainesville, three children, David Donald & Margaret Hull of Texas, Christine & Larry Wood of Woodstock, Georgia and Patricia Morelli of Savannah, Georgia, 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Memorial Park Funeral Home, 2030 Memorial Park Road, Gainesville, GA 30504 is in charge of arrangements.
