Notification with the passing of retired pilot Captain William
Olin White, age 77. Captain White first joined National Airlines 06-19-1967.
After the Pan Am/DL merger Captain White was based NYC. At the time of his
retirement with Delta Air Lines he was based 030/ATL.

WHITE, WILLIAM OLIN, 77
Ocala - William Olin White, 77 of Ocala, passed away at
Estelle's Hospice House on August 4, 2014. Born in Ocala, FL, he was the son of
Bradford Williamson White and Emma Margaret (Boggness) White. William graduated
from Ocala High School in 1954 and University of Florida where he earned a
degree in engineering, making him a lifelong Gator. William was a Captain
serving in the Air Force as a pilot during Vietnam, and a commercial Airline
Pilot working for National, Pam Am, and Delta before retiring. He was a member
of National Airlines Buccaneers, Past President of Marion County Gator Club,
Elks Club of Ocala.
William is survived by his devoted wife of 43 years A.
'Jeannie' White of Ocala, FL; two sons: William (Ines) White II, of Gilbert, AZ,
and Stanley (Rebecca) White, of Sebastopol, CA; two sisters: Margaret Dinkins,
of Ocala, FL, and Rose Wilson of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; four grandchildren: James
White, Vivianna (Michael) Delone; Owen White; Madden White; great-grand daughter
Vanessa Delone.
There will be a visitation Monday, August 11, 2014 from
9:30-10:30am at ROBERTS DOWNTOWN CHAPEL, 606 SW 2nd AVE, OCALA, FL, 34471,

Graveside services with Military Honors will be Monday, August
11th, 11:30am at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
