WA/DL Capt. Ross M. Bishop   age 83
November 15, 1931 ~ January 8, 2015

Word has been received with the passing of WA/DL retired pilot Captain Ross M. Bishop, age 83.  Captain Bishop joined Western Airlines 06-22-1959 and retired with Delta Air Lines at the mandatory age 60 in 1991, based LAX.  Survived by his wife Karen Spalding Bishop, personal condolences may be sent to the family at  415 Marview Drive , Solano Beach  CA  92075-1325  ...  (858) 792-1635 .  Karen writes that there will be a memorial service with military honors for Captain Bishop on February 6th at 12:30, Miramar National Cemetery, San Diego CA.

Thank you so much for your heartfelt condolences for our Ross. Such a magnificent man that touched all our lives in so many joyful ways.

As you have requested this info we will be having a Military service on Feb. 6th @ 12:30 @ Miramar National Cemetery, 5795 Nobel Drive, San Diego, CA 92122, 858-658-7360. Please arrive 10-15 minutes earlier to ensure a prompt commencement.

I received this sad news this AM from Don Stevenson. As soon as I hear any arrangements I'll pass along.

Dick, Karen Bishop notified me this morning that Ross passed away yesterday ( Thur. 1/8/15). No other information at this time. I'll pass along arrangements when available.     DS
