10/30 … Captain Louis Toney, (Delta pilot class of April
1961), moved back to his boyhood home of Little Rock around ten years ago and
has been a regular at our monthly retired pilot lunches. However, on Monday
morning, Oct. 26, his wife was unable to awaken him. Louis had suffered a
massive stroke and doctors have been unable to get any kind of a response from
his body or from his brain. Yesterday, in consultation with the doctors, his
wife & daughter had to make the difficult decision to transfer him to a
hospice. This is a sad day for his family and for his friends.
