passing of DL Captain Reginald Judson McCrary, age 75. Amanda with Cannon
Cleveland Funeral home has sent us the following obituary ... please note that
services for Capt. McCrary will be held tomorrow September 14th in McDonough,
Georgia with visitation this evening. Captain McCrary joined Delta Air Lines
10-17-1969, was based ATL, also LAX for a time, and retired with Delta Air Lines

Obituary..........................................
Reg was a 46-year volunteer with the
Chick Fil A Peach Bowl and was to be recognized this year as the FBA Volunteer
of the Year in 2015. He was inducted into the Peach Bowl Hall of Fame in 2013,
and served as the Chairman of Game Management in addition to previously serving
as part of the team selection committee. Reg was a licensed real estate agent
with RE/MAX Advantage, and a member of Metro South Association of Realtors. He
was a graduate and avid University of Alabama fan. He was a member of The
Million Dollar Band where he met his future wife, Sandra. Reg served in the
United States Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict, and later retired as a
pilot from Delta Airlines with 32 years’ service. He was a member of McDonough
Church of Christ.
Reginald Judson McCrary, age 75 of
McDonough passed away Sunday, September 11, 2016. He was born in Tuscaloosa,
Alabama to the late Judson Edgar and Frances McGraw McCrary. He was also
preceded in death by his son Ryan Holder McCrary.
Mr. McCrary is survived by his wife of 52
years, Sandra McCrary, of McDonough, GA; children, Reggie (Deadra) McCrary, of
Roswell, Robin (Chris) Brake, of McDonough; grandchildren, DJ Cargile, Taylor
McCrary, Alex, Peyton, and Baylee Brake; sister, Anne Johnston, of Acworth;
niece, Stephanie Lloyd, of Villa Rica.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM
on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at The Chapel of Cannon Cleveland Funeral
Directors. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will
receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of
flowers, those who wish may make donations to: World Bible Institute via
