News has reached us with the passing of retired Northwest pilot Captain Paul Duane Wyles, age 78.  Captain Wyles joined Northwest Airlines 09-09-1968.  He is survived by his wife Elaine, their children and grandchildren.
Arrangements were entrusted to Cascade Memorial in Washington state

NWA pilot Paul Wyles died Jan. 3, 2017, at the age of 78.
He was born Oct. 6, 1938, in Toppenish, Wash., to Archie and Lucy Wyles, the youngest of four boys. After serving in the U.S. military, he taught flying lessons and became a pilot for four airlines, ending with Northwest Airlines. Hobbies included collecting radios, golfing and playing poker; he enjoyed astronomy and made his own telescope.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Elaine; sons Paul Jr., Michael, Richard and Gregory Wyles; stepchildren Eddie Hansen, Sharon Roberts, Sheila Thompson and Shannon Hansen; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services will be planned for a later date.
