USAF veteran, DL Capt. Damon J. Frost Jr.

July 31, 1931 ~ October 3, 2020

 


This news has just come to us, word with the passing of retired Delta pilot Captain Damon Jewell Frost Jr., age 89.  Captain Frost joined Delta Air Lines 06-03-1957 and retired with Delta in 1991, and was based Atlanta.  He is survived by his wife Jackie along with his children, and his grand- and great grandchildren.

Obituary:   Damon J Frost

Damon J. Frost “Frosty" , 89 of Gainesville, GA passed away Saturday, October 3, 2020.

 

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jackie Harris Frost, and children Jeff Frost, Jamie (Vic) Williams, David (Leah) Frost, and Roger (Stacy) Frost. He is also survived by six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.

 

Damon was born on July 31, 1931 to Damon J. Frost, Sr. and Jessie Campbell Frost in Middlesboro, KY. He served in the Air Force during the Korean conflict, and then flew for Delta Airlines for 34 years. After retirement, he was involved in Community Theater.

 

He was a member of Gainesville United Methodist Church.

 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hospice Group at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

 

There will be a Memorial Service announced at a later date.
