I am sorry to hear of Howie's passing. I flew with him many time during my career. He was a wonderful person and a delight to fly with. Happy Trails Howie. You will be missed.
ReplyDeleteOne of the good guys. Always enjoyed flying with Howie as a S/O and a F/O. Excellent pilot. You never got bored flying with Howie. R.I.P.
ReplyDeleteA jolly fellow for sure! He loved Delta, cooking & boating. He gave me his paella recipe, advice on buying my boat & life in general. Howie R.I.P.
ReplyDeleteI was too close in seniority to have ever flown with Howie, but he was always a pleasant and engaging personality. One of those who made the airline so great.
ReplyDeleteThe very best! God Bless Howie.
ReplyDeleteI knew Howie for a long time starting around the late 60's. A good friend. I will miss the long telephone conversations we had over the years. He will surely be missed. God bless his wife Ann. Pete Sellen
ReplyDeleteHowie was indeed one of the "good guys." He was so much fun to fly with. He was a fine captain and pilot, and he made his entire team feel valued. Rest in peace, sir.
ReplyDeleteI used to visit Howie and Ann in the mid 90"s when I owned a home in the Keys-I therefore was able to enjoy some of his delicious cooking! Good times!
