News has reached us with the passing of
retired Northwest Airlines pilot Capt. Al Sovereign, age 86. Captain Sovereign joined Northwest Airlines 11-04-1968.
“This
is to let all his fellow pilots know that Allan Sovereign flew west on Feb 9,
2023. His wife, Ina, passed on Dec 1,
2022. Al and Ina had been in a care home for the last few months. Al and I started USAF pilot training together
at Vance AFB, Enid OK. He was a Capt. at
the time with Navigator Wings.”
