pilot Captain Earl Lee Goldberg, age 79.
Captain Goldberg joined Delta Air Lines 11-6-1972 and was based ATL/030. He is survived by his wife Evelyn, and by his
children and their families.

We are sad to
announce the passing of Capt. Earl Lee Goldberg of Fort Lauderdale, Florida at
the age of 79.
Earl was born
December 23, 1943, in Brookline, Massachusetts, and passed away on May 19,
2023, in St. Maarten. At the time of his passing, he was doing what he loved:
cruising the Caribbean.
Earl was a caring
husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, great-uncle, and friend.
He is survived by
his loving wife of 57 years Evelyn Levine Goldberg, his son Robert
(daughter-in-law Elizabeth) of Boca Raton, his daughter Lori (son-in-law
Andrew), and grandchildren Jacob, Ashley, and Jessica of Cleveland, Ohio.
Earl graduated
from Lowell Tech. He served his country as a Captain in the United States Air
Force from 1965 to 1970. He continued his flying career as a Captain for Delta
Airlines for thirty-one years and retired on the 777.
Earl loved
boating, cruising, and traveling the world. He had many other pursuits
throughout his life, including ham radios, and remote control airplanes.
A memorial service
will be hosted on Friday May 26 at 10:00 am Menorah Gardens Funeral & Chapel,
21100 Griffin Rd.,
Southwest Ranches,
FL 33332.
The family will be
receiving guests directly following the service back at the home of Evelyn
Goldberg at 2200 S Ocean Lane, Apt 2306 Fort Lauderdale, FL 33306 until 5:00
pm.
Earl has been a
loyal supporter of the Wounded Warrior Project. The family requests that
