distinguished career as a 747-commercial pilot, flying for Northwest Airlines
for nearly 28 years.
His passion for aviation continued after his
career as he found a way to enjoy flying and serving others through the Angel
Flight Southeast program. His service showcased the selflessness and commitment
to helping others by providing free air transportation to distant medical
facilities. Through these acts, he saved numerous lives and was named the 2014,
2015, and 2016 Pilot of the Year by Angel Flight Southeast, flying over 100
missions by 2017. Additionally, Warren's generosity and selfless acts showed no
limitations as he also flew missions for Pilots for Paws to help rescue
