___ PCN FLIGHT WEST is sponsored by the Pilot Communication Network and is a service of the PCN provided for the Delta Pilot Retired family of pilot groups. Flight West was started and is maintained to accomplish two main goals. After we become aware of a colleague who has Flown West, 1. We aim to produce a “timely” notice sent to our community that allows for support and interaction from our group toward the grieving family of our friend and colleague. 2. Then, we aim to “archive” that notice on our Flown West Blogspot as a lasting accessible place of Dignity and Honor of our colleague for family legacy and posterity. Contributor contact info is generally removed before posting (unless requested otherwise).

From Facebook :  Last week we lost our brother Mike Krasniewski, LAX73NB, to a horrific head-on car collision in Texas. Mike was on military leave flying the T-45 at NAS Kingsville, and was our Reserve head admin bro for a long while, he always looked out for his reservists. He leaves behind a wife and two teenage daughters, both daughters were in the car with him, one severely injured. Mike was a great American and our tight knit Goshawk community is still in shock.

Memorial service is 21 July at 0900 on the flight deck of the USS Lexington in Corpus Christi, PM for more details. If anyone is interested, a GoFundMe is set up for his family.

Dear Friends and Family,

Last week, we tragically lost our dear friend Michael "Krash" Krasniewski in a devastating car accident. Mike was not just a Naval Aviator and a Delta pilot, but also a loving husband to Amanda, a devoted father to their two beautiful daughters, a brother, and a son.

Most of Krash's friends are scattered around the country and world, but many have expressed a desire to show their support for the family. This account was created and all funds raised will go directly to Amanda and the girls to help with unforeseen expenses and helping them with this heartbreaking change to their life plan.

Please join in honoring Mike's memory by supporting his family during this difficult time. Thank you for keeping Amanda, their daughters, his parents, and immediate family, as well as all who loved Mike in your prayers.
