___ PCN FLIGHT WEST is sponsored by the Pilot Communication Network and is a service of the PCN provided for the Delta Pilot Retired family of pilot groups. Flight West was started and is maintained to accomplish two main goals. After we become aware of a colleague who has Flown West, 1. We aim to produce a “timely” notice sent to our community that allows for support and interaction from our group toward the grieving family of our friend and colleague. 2. Then, we aim to “archive” that notice on our Flown West Blogspot as a lasting accessible place of Dignity and Honor of our colleague for family legacy and posterity. Contributor contact info is generally removed before posting (unless requested otherwise).

Annlyn Annette Lynn obituary …………………..

Annlyn A. Lynn, age 86 of Apple Valley, passed away September 11, 2024. Annlyn Annette (Rykken) Lynn was born in Glenwood, Minnesota on June 14, 1938. She grew up in the Willmar area and attended Hamline College for a short time before marrying Robert E. Lynn in Willmar on December 15, 1957. They were blessed with 3 girls, 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Her husband was a pilot in the U.S. Navy so they frequently moved around the country to Pensacola, Norfolk, and Corpus Christi. After his retirement from the Navy, Bob flew for Northwest Airlines and they lived in Prior Lake. In 1979 they moved to Burnsville and wintered in the Tampa Bay area. Ann had a wonderful attitude, was always happy and always fun to be around. She and Bob enjoyed traveling to their hobby farm in Arkansas, Wisconsin {near Eau Claire} and especially spending time with their girls and grandkids. After Bob passed away in 2011, Ann moved to Augustana Regent in Burnsville and this last year at Apple Valley Health Care Center.
