Retired Delta Air Lines pilot Keith Rene Floyd, age 66, passed away Saturday, May 3rd, at his residence…..Keith joined Delta Air Lines 10-16-1989 and was based Atlanta.  Keith is survived by his wife Lorena “Lori”, and by his sons and their families.  Condolences may be sent to the Floyd family at

Keith R. Floyd

Cochran GA - Keith R. Floyd, age 66, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2025, at his residence. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 9, 2025, at 11:00 A.M. in Roddy Baptist Church. Burial will be in Limestone Memorial Gardens.

 

Born in Hawkinsville and raised in Cochran, Keith was the son of the late Mahlon Willis and Mary Davis Floyd. A graduate of Cochran High School in 1976, he went on to earn degrees from Troy State University, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and John Marshall Law School. Keith served his country with distinction as a U.S. Air Force F-15 Fighter Pilot before continuing his aviation career as a pilot for Delta Air Lines, from which he retired. Keith was a devoted member of Roddy Baptist Church.

 

Survivors are his wife, Lori W. Floyd of Cochran; his sons, Richard (Samantha) Floyd of Chamblee and Timothy Floyd of Oakwood; his granddaughter, Ellie Floyd of Chamblee; his brother, Tim (Barbara) Floyd of Ashburn; his sister, Sheree (Phil) Serrian of Lawrenceville; several nieces and nephews.

 

The family is at 418 Floyd-NeSmith Road, Cochran.

 

On Friday, May 9, 2025, the family will greet friends from 10:00 A.M. until time for the service at Roddy Baptist Church.
