Delta Air Lines Captain Jerry L. Farquhar………….
Jerry
Lance Farquhar joined Delta Air Lines 08-15-1963 and was Miami based. Jerry was
widowed in 2015 with the passing of his wife Dotty….please see below. Per whitepages listing, Jerry had most
recently resided in Florida : 32801 US Highway 441 N Lot 118, Okeechobee, FL
34972.

“Jerry
married Dotty in 1995; Dotty was a former B727 Captain with Miami Air
International, while Jerry flew Delta Air Lines for 33 years. The Farquhars
lived north of Lake Okeechobee, FL, maintained a condo in Lighthouse Point, FL,
and spent considerable time in the Exuma Islands on their 44' Cherubini ketch
rig--the 'Paladin.' Jerry and Dotty owned a Piper Aztec, and a 1946 Piper
Cub."

Dorothy Westby Obituary
OKEECHOBEE - Dorothy C. Westby was born Apr. 10th, 1938 in Tulsa,
Okla., and was known as Dotty to family and friends. She and her husband, Jerry
L. Farquhar, a retired airline captain, moved from Lighthouse Point to
Okeechobee in 2002. Dotty loved Okeechobee for its quiet ways and good people.
Dotty was an amazing woman; a champion swimmer and equestrian as a girl, she
went on to graduate from Rhode Island School of Design, and had a successful
career as an artist. She earned her pilots license at age 40 and took up her
second career as a charter pilot at age 42. She retired in 1996 as an airline
captain flying the Boeing 727, which she loved. She continued to fly a Piper
Aztec twin engine and her 1946 Piper J-3 Cub at their fly-in community in
Indian Hammock……………….
She died quietly and
suddenly on Mar. 17th, 2015. She is survived by her husband Jerry Farquhar,
daughter Kristen Moeller and son-in-law David Cottrell; son, Robert C Moeller
IV; daughter-in-law, Patricia Moeller; and her two grandsons Augusts and
