Born: March 30, 1937 in Chicago, IL
Died: July 23, 2026 in Barrington, IL
Charles "Chuck" I. Wiedemann of McHenry passed away on July 23, 2026.
He was born on March 30, 1937 in Chicago, IL to parents Frank and Geraldine
(Burrier) Wiedemann.
Chuck graduated from McHenry East Campus High School before earning degrees
from the University of Miami and Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He
enlisted in the United States Air Force, graduated as a Second Lieutenant with

to McHenry, where they made their home and remained longtime residents.
Chuck continued his service as a pilot in the Air National Guard while building
a career with Delta Air Lines, where he flew until his retirement. Flying was
more than a profession; it was a lifelong passion.
He also took great pride in his hometown, where his family owned and operated
the Mill Inn Restaurant for many years, a well-known gathering place in the
McHenry community. Chuck also believed strongly in giving back to others and
generously volunteered his time with the Lions Club for many years.
