Kevin McGregor was one of the most kind, generous, and engaging people I know. He had hudreds of friends and will be missed sorely. He devoted a good portion of his life in investigating the 1948 crash of Northwest Flight 4422 and his work, and the book he wrote, "Flight of Gold," offered the families of the victims long sought answers and closure. Now he leaves us seeking similar answers.
ReplyDeleteKevin was my assigned flight Safety Officer when I was a new Instrutor Pilot at Laughlin Air Force Base in 1983. He was a great role model and influenced me greatly as an instructor. I am saddened by his early passing.
ReplyDeleteKevin and I were USAF, DAL, and Alaska pilots together. He was a professional in every sense of the word, and a compassionate human being and friend. He is still missed. Godspeed Kevin, L
