Funeral: 12-5-2015
Faye Caroline Brown, age 80 of Montgomery, died Monday, November 23, 2015 at Central Health Care in Le Center. Visitation will be from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church on Saturday, December 5, 2015. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 5 at St. John Lutheran Church in Montgomery. Rev. Mark Wilms will officiate. Interment will be in the St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Montgomery.

Faye Caroline Brown, age 80 of Montgomery, died Monday, November 23, 2015 at Central Health Care in Le Center. Visitation will be from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church on Saturday, December 5, 2015. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 5 at St. John Lutheran Church in Montgomery. Rev. Mark Wilms will officiate. Interment will be in the St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Montgomery.
Faye was born on February 2, 1935 to
Irvin and Ellis (Lentfer) Pettit in Harrison Twp., Jewell County, Kansas. She
graduated from Burr Oak Kansas High School in 1952 as valedictorian. On November
3, 1956 she married Billy Brown in Yuma, AZ. They made their home in Montgomery,
MN. She was an active mom and was a talented seamstress. She enjoyed working
with the livestock on the farm and traveling to various places around the world.
Faye is survived by her husband, Billy;
daughters, Renee (Robert Goodell) Brown of Coon Rapids, MN and Marlene (Steve)
Pearce of Gilbert, AZ; granddaughter, Madeline Goodell; grandson, Niklas Pearce;
siblings, Russell Pettit of Lubbock, TX, David (Virginia) Pettit of Mankato, KS
and Dixie (Ron) West of Manhattan, KS.
She is preceded in death by her parents;
siblings, Paul Pettit, Alan Pettit and Phyllis Schutte.
