Notice of passing…..former Delta Golden Wings member and one of our oldest retired Delta pilots, Captain Marion Dargan Hicklin Jr., age 93.  Captain Hicklin joined Delta Air Lines 03-05-1956 and was based Atlanta.   He is survived by his wife Jeanette Garrett Hicklin.

 Marion Dargan Hicklin, age 93, of Columbia, South Carolina passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2022. Marion was born June 17, 1929 in Columbia, South Carolina.

 

A graveside service for Marion will be held Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at West End Cemetery, St. Matthews, South Carolina.

Marion Dargan Hicklin Sr.

June 17, 1929 - July 30, 2022

Columbia, South Carolina - Marion Dargan Hicklin Sr., June 17, 2022, passed away peacefully at his home on July 30, 2022. Mr. Hicklin was a pilot for Delta Airlines for over 30 years. Mr. Hicklin is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Jeanette Garrett Hicklin.

Donations may be made to the mission project at Shandon United Methodist Church, 3407 Devine Street, Columbia, SC 29205
