USAF veteran, DL Capt. William “Bill” Ralph Bannister

July 13, 1938 ~ June 18, 2024

 


We have just learned of the passing of Delta Golden Wings member Delta Air Lines pilot Captain William Ralph Bannister, age 85.  Bill was first employed in maintenance (01-03-1967) before being selected as a pilot. He had most recently resided in Gainesville GA.

William Ralph Bannister, 85 of Gainesville passed away Tuesday June 18, 2024, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center-Gainesville.

 

 At the request of the family, Mr. Bannister will be cremated, and a private family graveside service will be held at Alta Vista Cemetery at a later date.
