December 7, 1935 — March 6, 2025

 


Mr. Joe Foy Hulsey, 89, of Gulf Breeze, FL and formerly of Fort Worth, TX…..

Joe joined Delta Air Lines 04-11-1966 and was Atlanta based.  He is survived by his wife Linda, and by his children and stepchildren and their families…..and his dog Bubbles.

Joe Hulsey

Mr. Joe Foy Hulsey, 89, of Gulf Breeze, FL and formerly of Fort Worth, TX, died on Thursday, March 06, 2025.

A Celebration of Life service will be 2 pm, Friday, March 21, 2025, at the Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church, with Rev. Josh McLamb officiating.

After high school, Joe attended the University of Virginia and joined the United States Marine Corps. Joe was a Master Mason of Grand Lodge 148, in Fort Worth, TX. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed flying RC helicopters. Joe retired from Delta Airlines after 29 years of service as Captain of a Lockheed L1011 Tristar. He was a member of the Gulf Breeze United Methodist Church. Joe also had a love for old hymns, country music, and dogs.

Mr. Hulsey was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Constance Hulsey, parents, James and Grace Sims Hulsey, and a brother, Jack Hulsey.

Joe and Linda were happily married for 33 wonderful years together. Their lives were very active with boating, their Delta family and friends, and with Bubbles.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Hulsey; sons, Henry Dean Hulsey and wife, Tania Levy, and Joel Lynn Hulsey; brother, Duke Hulsey; stepson, James Reed Bradley; 4 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 1 step-grandson, and lastly, his dog, Bubbles.
