___ PCN FLIGHT WEST is sponsored by the Pilot Communication Network and is a service of the PCN provided for the Delta Pilot Retired family of pilot groups. Flight West was started and is maintained to accomplish two main goals. After we become aware of a colleague who has Flown West, 1. We aim to produce a “timely” notice sent to our community that allows for support and interaction from our group toward the grieving family of our friend and colleague. 2. Then, we aim to “archive” that notice on our PCN Flight West Blogspot as a lasting accessible place of Dignity and Honor of our colleague for family legacy and posterity. Deborah Baker Obituary
Obituary published on Legacy.com by Campbell Funeral Home - Beverly MA.
Deborah (McMillen) Baker, 77, a longtime resident of Boxford and most recently Ipswich, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 13, following a courageous three-month battle with illness. Surrounded by her loving family, Deborah entered eternal rest, leaving behind a beautiful legacy of faith, love, friendship, and devotion to those she cherished most.

Born on August 6, 1949, in Versailles, Kentucky, Deborah was the daughter of the late Ira McMillen Jr. and Jeanette (Dixon) McMillen. Raised in a family deeply rooted in faith, as the daughter of a Baptist minister, Deborah carried those values throughout her life. Following high school, she attended Georgetown College and later the University of Kentucky, where she completed her education.

Deborah began her professional career as a social worker before pursuing an opportunity as a flight attendant with Delta Air Lines. It was on her very first flight that she met the love of her life, Captain James M. "Jim" Baker. Their chance encounter marked the beginning of a beautiful life together, one built on love, family, and shared experiences. Following their marriage, Deborah and Jim made their home in Boxford, where they lived for more than 30 years. During that time, Deborah enjoyed a successful career in real estate with Coldwell Banker..........................
