…..notice of passing…..retired Delta pilot Captain William Randolph “Bill” Chichester, age 79.  Captain Chichester joined Delta Air Lines 09-04-1972 and was based Dallas.  He is survived by his wife Carol and his daughter and her husband, plus many more dear family members.  Obituary information is available online at

Obituary :  William Randolph “Bill” Chichester, age 79 of Grayson, GA. passed away on January 7, 2022, of complications from a fall. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Carol Chichester; daughter, Christine Day and her husband Kelly; daughter-in-law, Kimberly Chichester; brother, Harry of Tahlequah, OK and sister, Mary Smith of Ranchita, CA; four nieces and one nephew; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Diane Sparks and Bob Perlstein of Asheville, NC and his New Zealand family. He was preceded in death by his son, Rand and Travis; his parents, Harry and Geneva Chichester of Tulsa, OK; sister and brother-in-law, Gena and Pete Holland of Tahlequah, OK.

 

Bill was born and raised in Tulsa, OK and a graduate of the University of Tulsa where he played football and majored in Engineering. He was an Air Force veteran during the Vietnam War and a pilot for Delta Airlines for thirty years.

 

Per his request, no funeral service is planned.
